No. Free Stuff is a dedicated marketplace tab where you browse listings, request items, and arrange pickup. Map freebies are time-sensitive posts on the live deals map (for example nature-strip finds) that auto-expire.
You request an item. The poster accepts one request. Then you coordinate a pickup window in-app. Only the suburb is public until acceptance — exact pickup details are shared after.
Yes. Downloading and using SnagMate for Free Stuff and deals is free. There are no ads getting in the way of community sharing.
SnagMate is available on iOS and Android across Australia. Local density is strongest where communities are actively posting — starting with areas like Cranbourne & Casey in SE Melbourne and growing suburb by suburb.
Exchanges are between users. SnagMate does not verify items, people, or pickup safety. Meet in sensible places, bring a friend if needed, and follow your own judgement.
